99Speedmart and MHE Partner to Revolutionise Urban Parking

This partnership sees MHE supplying 99Speedmart with a state-of-the-art Mechanised Car Parking System

Klang, 29 November 2024: In a move that will transform urban parking solutions, 99Speedmart and MHE announced the signing of a letter of Agreement (LOA) for the installation of a fully automated Mechanised Car Parking System at 99Speedmart’s headquarters, Wisma99.

Located adjacent to a busy highway and surrounded by a residential neighbourhood, 99Speedmart has faced significant challenges due to limited parking space. This scarcity has impacted both staff and customers.

This collaboration addresses the growing challenges of space utilisation and efficient parking management in urban areas. The fully-automated system will provide 200 parking spaces, primarily for staff use. This state-of-the-art system will comprise two Tower Parking Systems accommodating 88 parking bays and one Platform Lift System with 132 parking bays.

The project showcases remarkable engineering ingenuity, overcoming significant challenges:

• Innovative Design: The system seamlessly integrates with an irregularly shaped plot, combining rectangular and isosceles triangular sections.

• Space Optimisation: Connecting the parking system to the HQ building ensures maximum space usage while maintaining access to existing sub-basement parking.

• Peak Performance: Multiple entry and exit points ensure smooth traffic flow, especially during peak periods.

• User-Centric Approach: The system prioritises user experience by minimizing wait times for vehicle retrieval.

Construction is scheduled to begin in Q3 2025, with completion anticipated by Q3 2026. This pioneering solution will not only alleviate parking shortages but also contribute to a more sustainable and efficient urban environment.
